New Parent Night Resources
Hello! Thank you to those of you who were able to come to our new parent information night on March 22. We very much appreciated the opportunity to meet you, and look forward to meeting parents who were not able to attend! In case you wanted to revisit some of the materials we provided to you, we thought we would post them below.
In this chart, we discuss the developmental needs of adolescents, the implications those needs have for teachers, and the ways Team Pathfinders meets these needs.
This presentation contains much of the information referenced above, but in a Google Slides format.

Middle School is Not a Building
Middle School is Not a Building, published by the Vermont Association of Middle Level Educators, does a wonderful job of describing middle level best practices. Movement in the Classroom
This New York Times article makes the case for why movement is so important in school. It focuses mainly on elementary-school children, but applies equally to our 7th graders.
